Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the greatest names in combat sports. He is undefeated with a record of (29-0) in his professional MMA career. The latter is also the former lightweight champion of the UFC.

However, ‘The Eagle’ bid farewell to the octagon after fighting his last battle against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. He promised his mother that he won’t fight anymore after the death of his father and coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

‘The Eagle’ has not entered the octagon since then. However, the Dagestan native has been building a fortune for himself after his retirement. He recently signed a multi-dollar deal with an energy drink brand and also owns an MMA promotion in Russia.

Nurmagomedov is doing well outside the octagon, hence his return seems improbable now. However, the UFC legend coaches his friends and training partners for their fighting career now. This gesture of the former champion reflects his attachment to the sport of MMA.
