Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin holds onto skirt for dear life as it flaps in wind on rollercoaster

Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin clung onto her skirt as tightly as she could as she tried to protect her modesty while riding a rollercoaster on today’s programme.

The weather presenter had been reporting live from Thorpe Park when she decided to try out one of the rides, with a live video feed playing directly to Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, who were in the comfort of the ITV studios.

Laura quickly realised that she had made a mistake by not wearing trousers shortly after taking off as her garment began flapping around in the wind.

‘Oh my God I should have worn leggings!’ she screamed as she tried pinning down her outfit.

‘Do we think she thought through the skirt?’ laughed Kate in the studio.

‘I feel quite uncomfortable,’ added Ben.

Kate continued: ‘I can’t work out if that’s genuine giggles or hysteria.

This is my actual job it is the best job in the world and the other good news is there is sunshine on the way. I think my hair had out as well and I didn’t lose my shoes and I didn’t show you my pants.

‘So win, win, win.’

Viewers were in hysterics by the scenes at hand and rushed to Twitter to comment.

‘Thank you for making me laugh, like I have never laughed before!’ wrote one. ‘Brilliant, TV gold.’

‘Funniest thing I’ve seen for ages, Laura trying to protect her dignity whilst on a rollercoaster,’ added another.

Never a dull day on breakfast television, hey?

Laura is no stranger to a live blunder and has also previously enjoyed trying out rollercoasters on the air.

Last month, the presenter had to react fast as a hungry penguin got a bit too close and nipped at her as she tried to read the weather on air.

‘Ow! I’m haven’t got any…the penguins think I am the food. I’m not a fish!’ she said at the time.

Later in the episode she had a go on one of the rides, finishing with a refreshing splash down a water slide.
