Fortnite releases ‘Operation: Sky Fire’ scheduled dates

As announced by the Epic Games site, Final Event for Chapter 2 Season 7 is scheduled to take place at 4 pm ET on September 12, 2021. Players will have to join a strike team in order to attack the Mothership and deliver IO’s final message.

Imposter mode, which was introduced in update 17.40, was detrimental to lead the course and narrative of this event.

Operation: Sky Fire Playlist for Fortnite

The Operation: Sky Fire event playlist will e accessible 30 minutes prior to the event. Players can start joining within the given time frame to fix their spot in the mission. This event will allow players to have a 16 member lobby to tackle Slone’s secret mission. This can be drawn in line with the previous Galactus LIVE event, which featured players teaming up in the lobby to collectively work on a common mission.

No replays will be available

Rather disappointing news for the content creators, there will be no replays available for this mission. Content creators might have to resort to external recording applications to record their experience in the event.

Mission checklist

There are several updates that are enough to get Epic Games excited about this and here are a few to list.

Bars are making a comeback into the game. They will be a part of the season’s Bargain Bin Wild Week, which is starting along with the Sky Fire event on September 9th, 2021. Furthermore, a Legendary Quest will also reward players for spending bars with final XP to add up to the Battle Pass.

Completing Epic Quests and exchanging their Battle Stars will guarantee players rewards before Operation: Sky Fire begins. The remaining Alien Artifacts can be collected and exchanged for Kymera styles.

Players will also have to complete the Superman Quests before September 12 at 4 pm ET. And more information on this can be found on the Epic Games site.

This LIVE event indeed has players excited to the brim, promising an exciting amount of gameplay moments and rewards for the Epic Gamers!
