Ex-Clippers Teammate Lou Williams Takes a Sly Dig at Kawhi Leonard?
Kawhi Leonard is not the name that comes to mind when you think of basketball players indulging in off-court activities, especially the ones that involve displaying or expressing their emotions. Damian Lillard raps and Victor Oladipo sings, but Leonard only hoops. So, the Klaw took the internet by surprise when he appeared in Drake’s official video for the song “Way 2 Sexy.”
Many see hin as a player who is focused on the game and only the game; he lets his skill do the talking and does not indulge in off-court antics. In fact, many have compared his lack of expressions to him being like a robot.
However, his former teammate has now clarified that on the court, Kawhi takes his own time to get into his rhythm. Showing that he, in fact, is human.

Lou Williams makes fun of Kawhi Leonard
Lou Williams recently spoke up about Clippers star Kawhi Leonard’s practice habits. On the 85th South Comedy Show, they asked him to compare Leonard to James Harden, Allen Iverson, and Kobe Bryant.
He said, “Completely different styles. Kawhi is there an hour and a half before practice, he’s there an hour and a half after practice, but that’s just his speed though… he need half the day to get his sh*t together.”
Lou Williams on Kawhi Leonard: “Kawhi is there an hour and a half before practice, he’s there an hour and a half after practice, but that’s just his speed tho… he need half the day to get his shit together.”

“That’s just how he operate. You know what I’m saying? But definitely a worker, man. Four completely different styles of hoopers.”
Until they traded Lou Williams to the Hawks, he was a teammate of Kawhi at the Clippers. This statement is not to be misunderstood as a dig at the player. Rather, it is a compliment from the player to his former teammate in a friendly spirit. Kawhi has a history of taking his own time to express his own emotions. But no matter what, he gets the job done.
