Jake Paul’s Boxing Challenge Gets Rejected by Football Player

Jake Paul is now challenging professional fighters to scrap with him inside the boxing ring and has already beaten two former MMA champions in his last two fights. So, calling out an NFL player might sound like what ‘The Problem Child’ did last year.

After beating retired NBA star Nate Robinson in 2020, Paul chose to upgrade his selection of opponents. That said, he had recently offered NFL player Tib Tebow to join boxing, which could have also been a challenge thrown. Although Paul has claimed of dreaming to bag gold in boxing, he still showed interest in Tebow, who has no relevance in the sport.

Turning to Twitter, ‘The Problem Chand’ urged Tib Tebow about lacing up the gloves. Already a two-sport athlete, Tebow is familiar to the NFL (football) and MLB (baseball) fans. But he could never become extremely successful in neither run. So, a move to boxing could have been an option.

aye @TimTebow I think it’s time for you to get into boxing ?!

However, Tebow has denied the chance and has shown no interest in entering the squared circle. In an interaction with Sports Center, the NFL player revealed his love for wearing ‘Rocky’ Shorts but ruled away his chances of boxing.

Tebow said, “I don’t think there’s much of a shot for that. … I don’t think that’s where I’m probably going to head next.”

Meanwhile, Jake Paul seems to have aimed at bigger goals. So, Tebow’s opinion will not affect his plans in any way. The 24-year-old has also begun feuding with A-listed champions and doesn’t appear to be dropping his level of opponents, especially after bating Tyron Woodley.

Jake Paul and his combat future

Before his bout against Woodley, Paul had outlined several names as his potential opponent for the future. Although it wasn’t an official revelation, the 24-year-old revealed his hit-list that ran across the UFC and the boxing roster. From Canelo Alvarez to Nate Diaz, Paul eyed many big names of the combat community.

But he may have to settle with a rematch against Tyron Woodley or scrap against Tommy Fury for the time. Despite having limited accolades in his boxing career, Paul’s sheer stardom has always brought him the right matchups. Hence, he can continue to grow as a boxer, while relishing both success and fame.
