Braun Strowman has seemingly confirmed his romance with Raquel Gonzalez.

The former WWE superstar and current NXT Women’s Champion have been linked for a while with fans wondering if they’re an item as they frequently show up on each other’s social media, but now we’ve got perhaps the biggest clue that they might actually be official.

The pair stepped out together for the Beyond Protocol launch event this week, and the Monster Among Men captioned a photo: ‘That’s how you red carpet!!!!!! @beyondprotocol1 launch party was pretty damn cool!!!! #CryptoKingAndQueen (sic)’

Raquel shared the picture on her own Twitter account, and fans flooded the post with comments either complimenting the two stars, or commenting on their potential relationship.

One fan replied: ‘Never thought it was possible for you to shoot above your weight class…but here we are with a 7 dating a 12’.

Strowman – whose real name is Adam Scherr – didn’t deny that they’re dating, instead joking that he’s ‘overachieving’.

He tweeted: ‘Raquel said I’m at least a 7.5 thank you!!!! #ImAnOverAchiever’

Meanwhile, the towering star – who was released by WWE at the beginning of June – recently confirmed he will return to the ring in a special way next month as part of EC3’s unique Free Your Narrative sequel.

He shared a poster and tense trailer for the event, which will drop on October 1, and teased: ‘Take control of your own life!!! Live how you wanna live. #MLMR #MyLifeMyRules @therealec3.’

Fightful Select provided additional details from EC3 himself for the show, teasing that Scherr would be fighting against the ‘#ControlYourNarrative mantra’ or himself.

The synopsis teases: ‘Are you born a monster? Or is it something you become?

‘After his shocking dismissal from the corporate wrestling realm, join Adam Scherr on a journey of self-discovery in his return to the ring when Scherr battles ec3 in “Free The Narrative II: The Monster In Us All”.’

The release – again shared by Fightful Select – continued: ‘Free The Narrative is a series that tells original and personal stories with some of professional wrestling’s biggest names, and those yet known.

‘“Free The Narrative” is completely independent of any wrestling promotion. Set to an original score, FTN blends professional wrestling, cinema, and harsh reality in what will become the true definition of “creative freedom” for an industry that desperately needs it, and any performer that truly seeks it.’

The event is pitched as a sequel to Matt Cardona’s Free the Narrative event – which also saw him battle EC3 – and is set to feature more ‘names’.

Meanwhile, Strowman – who has been keeping his name out there with regular fitness updates since leaving WWE at the start of summer – recently gave a shout out to Bray Wyatt after his own exit from the promotion.

Sharing a photo of them both in the ring, he teased: ‘I’m waiting!’
