Lakers’ Kent Bazemore Reacts to Russell Westbrook’s Intense Practice With His Trainer

The Lakers have put forward a quintessential off-season. Currently, they’re the Brooklyn Nets equivalent of the WC when it comes to on-paper strength. This confidence in the Lake Show is very much because of point guard Russell Westbrook and the scoring potential that he brings forth.

Russ is coming off a season where he proved how his talents can help even a mediocre team reach the NBA playoffs. So now when multiple All-Stars would surround him, the expectations would be nothing short of a championship ring. And his intense workout sessions ahead of the season are pointing towards the same result.

When Russell Westbrook pumped up Kent Bazemore

Last month, Russell Westbrook showed up in the gym, practicing alongside LeBron James. Then, his workout drills with training partners surfaced, and it all reflected how he’s at his athletic best. And now, a newly released video has the 32-YO breaking sweat with at least three defenders.

After completing his balance drills, the 9x All-Star dribbled past the defenders and made a posterizing dunk. His roar after the move was so intimidating that the training partners burst into laughter, seeing how Russ treated them as opponents. Seeing this, former GSW forward and now back with the Lakers, Kent Bazemore reacted –

Can’t wait to feed of this energy! https://t.co/kbS0Vn8bG5

Although the fans trolled Kent in the comments, it’s refreshing to see how Russ is inspiring his teammates even before the combined practice.

What else did Lakers’ Russ do in this off-season?

Upon coming back to his hometown after signing with the Lakers, Russ had all the reasons to take some time off the court. Recently, he celebrated his sixth marriage anniversary with wife Nina Earl. A pearl of a relation, Russ showed his happiness with an adorable Instagram post –

Prior to this, he threw his life’s first baseball pitch for the LA Dodgers at the iconic Dodger Stadium. He called it a dream come true as he donned a #0 Dodgers jersey and enjoyed one fine day. If that wasn’t already enough, the man also went for a family outing and posted the pictures from the beach on August 22nd.

Undoubtedly, this time spent with Noah, Skye, Jordyn, and Nina Westbrook will help Russ channel that energy and use it on the court. Hope this newfound joy gets him to his first ring. Do you also think that’s a major possibility? Help us know in the comments section below.
