Married At First Sight has brought the drama in a big way – but it might mean a new relationship is about to flourish after Ant Poole and Alexis Economou were seen getting flirty.

Ant and Nikita Jasmine were one of the couples to walk down the aisle, but they’ve been far from a match made in heaven. The pair have been constantly rowing, while Nikita has now been removed from the show.

Meanwhile, Alexis tied the knot with Jordon Mundell. However, she described any romance between them as ‘dead’.

Getting cosy at the dinner party, Ant and Alexis chatted through their failed romances, with Alexis describing Jordon as not her type.

‘What is your type?’ Ant asked, cheekily questioning: ‘Green eyes?’

Giggling, Alexis said her type is whoever she ‘vibes’ with.

She went on to say that she and Jordon had spoken about it being okay if they had a connection with other people, with Ant asking: ‘We’ve got a connection, then?’

Alexis couldn’t stop smiling, later admitting to the cameras that she may have found ‘ĺove waves’ in the UK rather than on her honeymoon in the Maldives with Jordon.

Fans are very here for the pairing, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Ant and Alexis… I’m not mad at it’.

‘This is what i came for, ant and alexis seem natural,’ another said.

One more added: ‘Put Alexis and Ant together already…. look at them genuinely enjoying each others company!’

The scenes aired after it was confirmed that Nikita has been removed from the E4 show after a situation ‘escalated off camera.

A statement read: ‘The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond. 

‘During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

‘As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.’ 

Nikita’s exit will air on Thursday night’s show.

Married At First Sight continues tomorrow night at 9pm on E4.
