Aaron Rodgers Speaks of Having the Right Perspective and Feels Optimistic Ahead of 2021 Season

After a second straight loss in the NFC championship game, Aaron Rodgers wants to get over the hangover this season. He expects a lot from this team as he believes they have the most competitive mindset in the league.

After a renewal of his contract during the offseason, makes it easier for both the parties (Rodgers and Green Bay Packers) part ways at the end of this season. Hence, it feels more like a last dance for the veteran quarterback, which he wants to remember for the rest of his life.

“There is a lot of unknowns, so the right perspective is needed, I think, from all of us. … We know we have a talented team, we know what the expectations are.”

One last time for Green Bay

Going into the 17th season of his career, Rodger believes that the Packers have what it takes to win the Super Bowl. Their dedication and team-spirit may reach new heights this season.

“I think we don’t feel pressure … I’m speaking personally and I can’t speak for everybody,” Rodgers said. “But the feel that I get with the energy in the locker room is not pressure. It’s focus. I think it’s the right perspective and the right type of focus.”

Climax season for Aaron Rodgers

The Packer’s unfortunate loss against the Bucs in the Conference championship game last season, left a scar which Rodgers wants to heal this time. Although it is not pressure that he feels in the locker room, it’s the energy inside it that makes him believe that the Packers have the right perspective needed to win the Super Bowl.

“We know we have a talented team. We know what the expectations are. We’re just focusing on accountability and holding each other accountable because regardless of what happens with any of our situations, this group will not be together the way it is now in years down the line. So we’re going to enjoy this year for all that it has to offer, and each other, and I think that’s the right perspective to have when you get in this situation,” Rodgers added.

The reigning NFL MVP wants to give it one last shot during his stay at the Green Bay, but this time the franchise will play like it’s now or never. This season means a lot to them, and their performance in the opening match against New Orleans Saints will demonstrate their forthcoming dominance over the league.
