Italian Grand Prix: How Many F1 Fans Will Be There in Attendance at Monza?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic fans couldn’t attend a Grand Prix weekend. However, with regulations being eased for those who have been vaccinated and tested negative for the Covid, those spectators are in for a treat for the Italian Grand Prix.

Last season saw the Italian Grand Prix empty due to the strict Covid rules. But after a year, those fans will be back. However, only a small percentage will be allowed to witness the action on Monza this upcoming weekend.

Fans to be back for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza

The race at Monza is one of the most exciting races on the Formula One calendar. The atmosphere created by the Tifosi is surreal. However, they weren’t present supporting Ferrari last year.

But, this year they will be back in the Grand Stands. Monza reportedly can host over a million fans for the Grand Prix weekend. But, taking into consideration the Covid rules, only 50% will be allowed into the grandstands, while general admission won’t be granted. (approx. 59,430 fans)
