The Blue Meanie remembers being totally exposed on WWE Raw during Goldust skit: ‘Like a baby in a beanbag’

The Blue Meanie has recalled the moment he was totally exposed to an arena full of fans during a WWE Raw taping.

The Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) veteran – who worked for Vince McMahon’s company from 1998 until late 1999 – enjoyed a brief feud with Goldust on the red brand which resulted in one embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when his shorts didn’t cover as much as they were meant to.

Appearing on the Stories With Brisco and Bradshaw podcast, he said: ‘This was in the era where we were live Raw on a Monday, tape Tuesday. So, we’re taping on the Tuesday and they wanted me to do a parody of the Nitro Girls, and be the Raw Boy.

‘So this is during the Goldust feud – so they’re, “Ladies and gentlemen, Raw Boy!” I come out, do the whole dancing and stuff, and Goldust [hits me] from behind because we’re still in a feud.

‘He hits me all the way to the ring, he throws me in the ring and he sets me up for the Shattered Dreams kick.

‘I feel one leg go over the ropes, I feel the second leg go over the ropes, and then I just feel… I’m like, “Uh oh!” And I just feel my balls pop out of my shorts. So, as that happens, I’m facing the Titan Tron and I look up at the Titan Tron… and my balls are on the Titan Tron.’

Seeing yourself exposed on the big screen might be a shock for most people, but Meanie joked that the main takeaway from the experienced was something very different.

‘I’m saying, if the camera adds 10 pounds, who many cameras did they have on my balls?! It looked like a baby in a beanbag chair,’ he laughed.

‘So, I go from the Titan Tron and I looked and Dustin, and he’s trying not to laugh. He does the kick, I sell, the segment’s over.’

The star went backstage and admitted he was met with ‘the golf clap’ from the production team, and it’s something he knows he’ll never be allowed to forget.

He added: ‘We got to the back – and this is one of the shoots when the production truck was in the building. I get the golf clap from – all the boys at the monitor give me the golf clap, “Ah, Meanie!” And guys were coming out of the production truck, “Ah, Meanie!”

‘Man, I’ll never live that down. I would always see the late, great Luna Vachon at an indie show – “Meanie, remember when your balls fell out on Raw? Hahaha!” ‘
