‘This Is a Disney Channel Guy’- Vitor Belfort Compares His Fight Against Evander Holyfield With Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley

Vitor Belfort doesn’t see Jake Paul as a boxer. ‘The Phenom’ believes that the YouTuber turned boxer is just an amateur and shouldn’t be compared to him. ‘The Phenom’ fought his last battle in the promotion at UFC 224 in 2018 in a losing effort against Lyoto Machida.

Now, the former UFC star will clash against the former world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in a professional bout. It will take place on Saturday, Sep. 11 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event also features a fight between Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz, which will serve as a co-main event.

Despite making his boxing debut, Belfort doesn’t want his boxing fight to be compared with that of Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley. In a recent interview, while talking about this comparison, Belfort said, “This is a Disney channel guy. I didn’t see a boxer, so one guy is a wrestle, and actually, the Disney guy became an amateur boxer.”

Belfort added, “But you know nothing about how they feel, man. He is talking about boxing. He’s talking about Vitor. Bro, if you’re talking about a knockout artist, it’s different. There’s no comparison. You’re trying to compare water with wine. We are the Bordeaux wine. Whatever orders when you put you want to try to compare. It’s like comparing a Ferrari with a Honda. It’s like don’t put a hollow foot in that category, don’t put Vitor in that category. So it’s like they are different beasts of animals.”

Belfort has turned his attention towards boxing, but his UFC resume still shines.
