Vitor Belfort Calls Out Jake Paul for $30 Million ‘Winner Takes All’ Fight

Vitor Belfort finally showed fans what he is truly capable of inside the squared circle. He dominated his debut against boxing legend Evander Holyfield by dropping him in the very first round.

Even though his professional debut did not last very long, he definitely did not look like many other MMA fighters turned-boxers. His striking seemed in control and it looked like Vitor Belfort knew what he was doing.

With a round 1 TKO win over Evander Holyfield, Vitor Belfort put pro-boxers on notice. In addition to that, he made a surprise announcement; he called out YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul for a $30 million ‘winner takes all’ fight.

Jake Paul, stop running from me man. I’m gonna teach you a lesson. You can be my kid, you’re going to meet daddy over here at Triller. Stop running you little b***h,” said Vitor Belfort in a post-fight interview.

Evander Holyfield vs Vitor Belfort – Fight Recap

Triller’s main boxing event between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort stayed true to the immense buzz created around it.

To everyone’s surprise, both the fighters, regardless of their age, came out flamboyantly to make the most out of their time in the squared circle. But, in the end, it was Vitor Belfort’s night who claimed a solid round 1 T/KO win.

As the fight began, Holyfield began throwing his jabs to check the distance. And Belfort, on the other hand, was the oppressive boxer who landed some significant strikes to smother the living legend.

Holyfield even slipped and fell on the ropes. But there was no stopping for Belfort, as he only came ahead with his hits. ‘The Real Deal’ seemed outclassed with his foe’s assault and he even went down on the canvas.

As a result, to save him from further beatings, the referee decided to stop the fight when Belfort went all out against the legend after the latter gained a vertical base.

‘The Phenom’ seemed in the element of his life and he showed the world once again his extensive standup game. He was definitely a favorite to win this epic encounter, as Holyfield’s age was a vital factor. That said, things panned out exactly the way Belfort wanted.

Moving ahead, this fight didn’t go as planned for Holyfield. But he showed heart and kept coming back to show his true attitude. He was left jittered when the referee stopped the fight. This itself is proof of how badly the retro heavyweight king wanted a win here.
