“Deontay Wilder Is the Most Dangerous Fighter”-Tyson Fury Hails His Opponent’s Supremacy Over Himself

Despite the intense bad-blood, Tyson Fury has admitted Deontay Wilder is the most dangerous boxer of this time. It might be surprising to accept for many but ‘The Gypsy King’ didn’t hesitate while acknowledging Wilder’s prowess, before colliding with the American star on October 9. Having beaten Wilder in the rematch in 2020, Fury believes he will repeat the same on the trilogy collision.

But the current WBC champion agreed on the statement that he can never be as treacherous as ‘The Bronze Bomber’. In a chat with The Lockdown, Tyson Fury opened up on several aspects surrounding his in-ring career and personal life. Hence, he couldn’t avoid shedding some light on Deontay Wilder as his rival.

Fury said, “When I had a proper training camp for the second one, he got obliterated. And the third time I am expecting more of the same to be fair. But that doesn’t mean to say he can’t beat everybody else in the division with one hand tied behind his back.”

“Because I do believe he is the most dangerous, even including myself. He is more dangerous than I will ever know how to be. Deontay Wilder is the most dangerous fighter on this planet, all weights, doesn’t matter.”

Meanwhile, Deontay Wilder has expressed reluctance to talk much about his next fight. Following the maiden defeat of his glittery career against Fury, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ had gone into a long layoff. However, he is back to action and the third fight against Fury will settle everything. Already honed by Malik Scott, Wilder’s recent training sees him at 100%. So, anything can happen on the fight night.

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3- can the underdog shine?

Looking at Wilder’s impeccable resume of 42-1-1, on which he boasts 41 KOs, it will be wrong to write off the American knockout artist. Before facing Tyson Fury, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ seemed invincible for a long time in the boxing journey. But Fury exposed his flaws in a heated collision in 2018. Punishing his rival to the core, Fury looked sharp against Wilder’s hard shots. But until Wilder connected a clean right to knockdown Fury in the 12th round.

It was almost over, but Fury rose from the doom and continued the battle, which eventually turned out as a draw. But Tyson Fury left no doubts in the rematch. Taking out Wilder completely for the first six rounds, ‘The Gypsy King’ closed the show with a TKO in the seventh. Hence, he is leading the score of 1-0 over Deontay Wilder.

As the trilogy fight is less than a month away, we will see one of the biggest rivalries close off in heavyweight boxing.
