Khloe Kardashian ‘banned from Met Gala for being too C-list’

KHLOE Kardashian has been “banned” from the Met Gala for “being too C-list”, sources have revealed.

While her sisters Kim, Kendall and Kylie frequent the red carpet event, the fellow Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is yet to receive an invite.

Khloe, 37, has been barred from the star-studded evening at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art for not being famous enough.

She and sister Kourtney, 42, are yet to be sent an invite to the prestigious bash, which even their mom Kris Jenner has appeared at previously.

Sources have revealed Khloe isn’t welcome at the glamorous celebration as she is unable to compete with the host of modelling, film and music stars.

Vogue’s Editor in Chief Anna Wintour is said to regard the reality TV favourite as “too C-list” for the red carpet.

Despite this, it hasn’t stopped Khloe from showing her support for her siblings who made it to the event in previous years .

Khloe tweeted during the last Met Gala back in 2019: “I seriously cannot get over how incredible my sisters look tonight! I’m dreaming of them!”

It came as younger sisters Kim, 40, took to the red carpet in a see-through gown alongside ex-husband Kanye West.

She was closely followed by Kendall, 25, and Kylie, 24, who wore matching feathered gowns, and mom Kris, 65, in a long navy jumpsuit.

Radar Online revealed at the time that Khloe’s lack of appearance was not due to her struggling to find a babysitter for daughter True, now three.

The outlet suggested that Khloe had been blacklisted alongside sister Kourtney, who is currently dating Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.

Mom-of-four Kim was first invited to the event in 2013 as a plus one to then-husband Kanye, who the star divorced from earlier this year.

She told of how her first appearance was a disaster and how she sobbed all the way home after realising “nobody wanted her there”.

Kim, who was pregnant with oldest daughter North at the time, said she felt uncomfortable in her floral Givenchy gown.

“I was Kanye’s plus one and so nervous,” she revealed. “I didn’t know anyone and I’m sure no one wanted me there. I went home and cried after.”

The star also suffered a number of cruel internet memes being made about her outfit, which compared her to Robin Williams’ character Mrs Doubtfire.

In 2019, the star sported a custom made House of Mugler dress in a near-naked shade of nude, adorning herself with stunning crystals.

“Mr Mugler hasn’t designed in 20 years and made the most magical dress,” Kim told her social media fans at the time. “I have to pinch myself!”

KHLOE TAKES TIME OUT

It comes days after Khloe told fans she was taking time out from social media and going “offline” to find some “peace of mind”.

The reality star recently went on a Twitter rant over rumors she reconciled with Tristan Thompson, despite him cheating on her multiple times.

Before heading off of Instagram for a few days, Khloe posted in her Instagram Stories: “Offline is the new peace of mind.”

The Good American founder went on to claim that she was being “terrorized” by fake rumors by those who don’t know the facts.

Back in June, Tristan was allegedly seen heading into a bedroom during a Bel-Air party with three unknown women and emerged half an hour later appearing “disheveled.”

However, the alleged scandal is not the first time Tristan has been accused of cheating on Khloe.

A few months earlier, Tristan was hit with cheating rumors from 23-year-old model Sydney Chase.
