UFC Fans Accuse Tito Ortiz of Taking a Fall Against Anderson Silva

Tito Ortiz suffered a humiliating loss to Anderson Silva inside the boxing ring as the duo squared off. ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ was completely outclassed and got knocked out inside the first round of the contest. Many fans suggested that the former UFC light-heavyweight champion took a dive. However, UFC lightweight Al Iaquinta has come out to bash those fans in a recent post.

‘Raging’ Al believes those claims from fans are nothing short of funny. One has to agree with the former title challenger on this aspect, as Silva has proven himself to be a phenomenal boxer. Ortiz, on the other hand, made his first appearance inside the squared ring.

The people that think Tito took a dive or was acting are so funny to me

The people that think Tito took a dive or was acting are so funny to me,” wrote Iaquinta in his recent post. And to be fair, it was just a sensational performance from ‘The Spider’ Anderson Silva rather than the case being Ortiz taking a dive.

Iaquinta has been out of action in the UFC since his loss to Dan Hooker at UFC 243. He will face Bobby Green in a lightweight contest at UFC 268. This will end his Octagon hiatus of over 2 years. While that’s next for him, what is next for the two boxers?

What is next for Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz?

Following such sensational performances inside the boxing ring in his last 2 outings, one can expect Silva to be back in action sooner rather than later. After managing to get a decision win over former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr not so long ago, he completely outclassed Ortiz.

Silva has already called out the Paul brothers for a fight. Whether he fights the YouTube stars remains to be seen. As for Ortiz, the chances of seeing him back inside the squared ring are slim. But, with the current state of the sport, nothing can be off the charts.
