Leylah has shot to fame since her superb run in the US Open. She wore a Carolina Herrera dress for the red carpet which was inspired by the Vogue shoot where Serena and Venus Williams wore something very similar for the summer collection back in 1998.

Leylah Fernandez and Emma Raducanu spotted at the Met Gala
Furthermore, 19-year-old Leylah as well as the current US Open champion Emma Raducanu were spotted at the Met this year. Both players have been getting heaps of praises for their unbelievable runs in the US Open.
Emma became the first player to win a major Grand Slam after entering the draw as a qualifier. On the other hand, Leylah beat big names like Naomi Osaka, Sabalenka, and Svitolina to make her way to the finals.
