Deontay Wilder Says There Is “No Stopping” Him

Deontay Wilder doesn’t see himself losing to Tyson Fury one more time, when they meet inside the ring on October 9 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the WBC heavyweight world title. Coming from a horrific TKO loss against the Brit star, Wilder has had a long hiatus and has apparently infused several new techniques in his recent camp. He has also roped in Malik Scott.

Deontay Wilder claimed to have benefited from the postponement of the fight. In a chat with 78 Sports TV, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ talked about several things, including how the official postponement has turned him invincible at this stage.

“The longer they give me time, the better, the better here I become. The only thing about it you know they had their greatest chance back in July. At this point in the night, it is no stopping me. I am on a mission and as I have been saying, my mind as well as my team mind. All our minds are violent,” said Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury is similarly confident about turning the score 2-0 over Wilder when they collide for one last time. Thus, it leaves the door open to an intriguing heavyweight slugfest between two of the best of modern age boxing.

Can Deontay Wilder shock the world?

‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder has the power that can feed any man to the canvas in a boxing battle, but Tyson Fury nullified it brilliantly in their previous fights. Hence, it raises questions regarding Deontay Wilder’s chances in the third meeting, as ‘The Gypsy King’ can easily do the same again.

On winning the trilogy show, Wilder will become a 2x WBC heavyweight champion, gaining his lost spotlight in the heavyweight division. Furthermore, he will be in talks for an undisputed title fight. Thus, it can drive him to push the limits in-ring and shock the world.
