The front office thought John Wall would be the perfect mentor for young players, but things have proven otherwise.

Thus, the Rockets are planning to trade the point guard in a bid to rebuild from scratch. So what are the possible destinations for Wall?

Some Possible destinations for John Wall

The talented point guard played with the Washington Wizards for a long time. Despite not conjuring up with an NBA title, he quickly became the franchise’s iconic player. But, the player is not getting younger and is still looking to win his first NBA title. The curious case of Wall continues to grow as he now looks to move onto another franchise.

In terms of winning a championship, a move to the Los Angeles Clippers is on the cards.

Despite losing Kawhi Leonard to an injury, they proved their mettle with sensational performances against the Dallas Mavericks as Reggie Jackson, Terrance Mann, and Paul George came up with the goods. However, the team could not advance as they missed Kawhi. Signing Wall would be a statement of intent from the Clippers, as the team would be more balanced to fight for the title.

The next team that can make a move for him is the Dallas Mavericks. A lineup of Luka Doncic and Wall would be a treat to watch. But, the drawback to the move will be that Kristaps Porzingis would need to leave for the move to happen because of cap space restrictions. The trade may happen, but would be good for the Mavs?

Another fine prospect for him would be the New Orleans Pelicans. With Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram amongst their ranks, they have a talented squad. Hence, bringing Wall would do the world of good for the team. By playing as a point guard, the team would be more balanced. Furthermore, his playmaking abilities can help the team progress.

Lastly, the Philadelphia 76ers is another great option for the franchise. With Ben Simmons expressing his desire to leave, both teams could work out a deal that can change the entire landscape of the NBA. A three-way trade between the 76ers, Kings, and Rockets can happen with players moving on to facilitate the deal.

Thus, Wall’s deal would be looked upon by teams in the coming days. He is an instant upgrade for all the teams and is one of the most underrated players in the NBA. Where will he land next?
