Twitter Users Express Their Disappointment as The Release Of Battlefield 2042 Takes Another Stroll

After speculations from insiders over the past 48 hours, EA DICE has finally confirmed that the beta and full game release of Battlefield 2042 has been delayed. The game will be released on 19th November 2021, and the open beta might be available this month.

On Twitter, the development team said, “Building the next generation of Battlefield during a global pandemic has created unforeseen challenges for our development teams. Given the scale and scope of the game, we had hoped our teams would be back in our studios together as we move towards launch. With the ongoing conditions not allowing that to happen safely, and with all the hard work the teams are doing from home, we feel it is important to take the extra time to deliver on the vision of Battlefield 2042 for our players.”

This has left several Twitter users disappointed. Fans upset over this delay took to the site to express their reactions, and some of them were truly hilarious.

Twitter react to Battlefield 2042 delay

Fans never fail to express their resentment on Twitter, and they did so quite hilariously. One user posted a video where a man apparently tried to consume Clorox and play with inflammable substances.

Here are few more tweets that might very well explain how the fanbase has taken the news.

The above tweets are hilarious and explain the fans’ FOMO (fear of missing out). Here is another that might seem amusing.

However, some users think the devs should perfect the game until it’s ready and remove the negativity.

#Battlefield2042 beta.. early or late September. Does it really matter? Let it drop when it’s ready and not before.

Muting the negativity is the way.

Dun Dun, Dun, Dun Dun Dun.
