Call of Duty Vanguard: Beta Reveals More Than Gameplay; Insiders Leak All-New Multiplayer Modes, Maps, and Operators

Call of Duty Vanguard is halfway through its early access beta and insiders have already dug up more than the devs would have wanted to reveal. At this rate, the community will be aware of every detail about the game ahead of its launch next month.

The insiders have had a busy couple of days. Just a few hours after the launch of the early access beta for pre-order players, a Reddit user had already posted key information about the upcoming title. They go in-depth listing names of the maps that players can battle it out on. Along with new multiplayer game modes, mission names, and more.

Call of Duty Vanguard: what can fans expect to see at the time of launch?

Yesterday, many Call of Duty-dedicated Twitter accounts leaked that zombies will be returning to the COD world with Vanguard. Interestingly, for fans, the zombies will be enhanced versions of the classics. They also revealed when players can expect the first round-based map to drop.

Today, the leakers have more information for the community. Reddit user Nanikos, in their recent post, lists everything that will either be available at the time of launch or will roll out with future updates as a part of other seasons.

All-new missions in Campaign Mode

Since the game is set around events of WWII, the campaign mission’s names correspond to the events. The locations players will travel to will also be the ones that experienced the war from the forefront.

Numa Numa Trail
The Battle Of El Alamein
The Battle of Midway
Phoenix
Stalingrad
The Fourth Reich
The Rats of Tobruk
Operation Tonga
Lady Nightingale

New Modes to Master

The game will also feature a bunch of new Multiplayer game modes apart from the standard ones. Not much is known about these modes, but the tentative list is:

Arms Race
Control
Crawl
Minefield
Patrol

The game will also introduce new unreleased killstreaks, and they do look promising. Air Superiority and Local Informants will be the two making their way to the game. The former will let players perform three strafing runs across certain areas of the map. While the former, as the name suggests, will give the location of all enemies on the map for the lifetime of the streak.

The Killing Machines: Operators

The developers decided to invest a lot of their time in the Operators this time around. The game will welcome 10 operators from every origin, each with a distinct melee weapon and special execution style.

Beatrice (French)- Weapon Cleaver
Constanze (Latin) – Weapon Club
Solange (French/Latin) – Weapon Axe
Shigernori (Japanese) – Weapon Katana
Padmavati (Hindi) – Weapon Machete
Halima (Arabic) – Weapon Bilao

The other four are Isabella, Lewis, Francis, and Liu, but there is no other information available for these operators.

Call of Duty Vanguard: multiplayer maps

As for the maps, they too will be reminiscent of World War 2. Call of Duty Vanguard will also feature some revamped maps from other Call of Duty titles, keeping in line with the theme.
