Dazed and Confused star Jason London arrested for public intoxication after ‘drunkenly crashing his car into a ditch’

DAZED and Confused star Jason London has been arrested for public intoxication.

The actor, 48, was drunk and crashed his car multiple times before ramming into a ditch, TMZ reported.

Jason was arrested at around 11.30pm on Tuesday night in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, according to the outlet.

He was reportedly found behind the wheel of a 2010 Nissan Maxima that was on fire and stuck in a ditch.

Jason – who played football star Randall “Pink” Floyd in the hit 1993 film – was slurring his speech, reeked of booze and could barely keep his balance, according to cops.

Police believe he swerved off the road, knocked down a sign, got back on the road, then hit a concrete object and careered into a ditch.

Jason told police another car had sideswiped them and run them off the road, according to TMZ.

His passenger was reportedly standing close to the car, which was “heavily damaged” on the passenger side.

Jason was arrested for public intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident.

He was allegedly so drunk when he was taken to jail in Jackson County that cops couldn’t fingerprint him.

An Ocean Springs PD spokesperson told TMZ that the ’90s actor wasn’t hit with a DIU because the officer “used his discretion and decided to arrest him on other charges”.

Jason got his start in acting in the 1991 movie The Man In The Moon, before hitting the big time opposite Matthew MacConaughey in Dazed and Confused.

The actor and producer is also known for films like Jason and the Argonauts (2000), and The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999).

His latest projects were in 2020, with the movies Horse Camp: A Love Tail, Cecil and Full Count.

He has been married to Sofia Karstens since 2011 and was previously married to Charlie Spradling.
