Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford’s newborn son makes quite an entrance on the show

Gogglebox started off in adorable yet hilarious fashion as Pete Sandiford revealed his newborn son to viewers within the opening moments of the 18th series.
Pete, who appears on the show with his sister Sophie, was cradling his son in his arms, as he removed his dummy and praised his gurgling son for being ‘a very good boy’.
The camera gave a close-up look at the little boy, who was clad in a baby blue onesie as his dad held him, before the baby then provided some entertainment.
As an instantly recognisable sound cue came from his nappy, Pete gasped and exchanged looks with Sophie, who was laughing, before asking his son: ‘Have you sh**ted?
‘You naughty boy!’
‘He does take after his dad, doesn’t he?’ the star then laughed.
Fans sent their best wishes to the new dad and joked along with him over his son’s indiscretion.
‘Hilarious but what a beautiful bubba so your excused [sic],’ wrote one, while another commented: ‘Oh he’s beautiful! Congratulations on your bundle of joy.’
A third said: ‘He’s a little smasher, Pete. Congratulations on becoming a father.’
Pete, 26, recently revealed at the National Television Awards that he had tied the knot with his fiancée, Paige Yeomans, after being seen sporting a wedding ring.
Talking to OK! he exclaimed: ‘I’m married now! It was nerve-wracking but the best day of my life. Well, second best day as I’m a dad now, too.’

Pete, his sister Sophie, Julie and her husband Tom represented Gogglebox at the NTAs in London, and accepted the factual award on behalf of the show.

He was also relaxed with revealing the news that he and Paige were expecting a baby back in April, as he shared a scan to his sister and said she was about to become auntie to a niece or nephew.
He mused: ‘Innit mad? I am actually going to be a dad to somebody,’ to which Sophie replied: ‘Crazy. Life’s coming at you fast.’
