“She Was Talking a Lot of Sh**”- Usain Bolt Explains Why Jamaican Fans Hate Sha’Carri Richardson
Sha’Carri Richardson, the young American sprinter, is known for her fiery personality on and off the track. Sha’Carri has been in an on-field rivalry with the Jamaican sprinting trio of Elaine Thompson, Shericka Jackson, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. During the competition between the sprinters, Richardson has made some unsavory comments about the athletes. This has, expectedly, drawn the ire of Jamaican athletic fans. Legendary sprinter Usain Bolt recently opened up about these issues.

Usain Bolt clears the air
In a recent interview with New York Post, Usain Bolt spoke about the differences that the Jamaicans had with the controversial sprinter.
“Jamaicans were vexed because she was talking a lot of s–t before the actual race, it is just one of those things. Jamaicans don’t like when people talk s–t about us because we are a very proud people. So if you talk about us we are gonna want you to back it up. It definitely gave those women the extra push [to win.],” said Bolt.

Elaine, Shelly-Ann, and Shericka are dominating the track events. The trio clean swept the podium at the 100m race in the Olympics.
Sha’Carri Richardson should not let criticisms affect her
Richardson was banned from the Tokyo Olympics by WADA. However, she returned to the Nike Prefontaine Classic competitions in Oregon amidst much fanfare. But, the comeback did not go according to plan as she finished last amongst the competitors.

Richardson needs to step up her game to back her words as soon as possible. Hopefully, she can come back and fulfill her undoubted potential.
