“Chat About Nothing and Everything”: Rafael Nadal Catches Up With Friends While Recuperating From His Injury

Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has been a key name in this sport. Over the years, he has displayed high quality of tennis that seemed unparalleled. One can safely say there has never been a more dominant clay court player than him.

Recently, Rafael Nadal was spotted hanging out with his friends. In the picture, he can be seen sitting at a table along with a couple of friends, sipping on beer. He has been making the most of his time away from the Tour. Normally, with a packed schedule that he has, it’s difficult to make time for these activities with all the moving around.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner has been on the sidelines since his stint in Washington. He has been dealing with a foot injury since the French Open earlier this season. Nonetheless, he has been recovering slowly but steadily.

While he gave a glimpse of what he’s up to, he posted a picture with the caption, Last summer days with friends… always nice to be surrounded by them, chat about nothing and everything. Just some fun times with my partners… .”

Reflecting on tennis, Nadal began his season in Melbourne but lost in the quarterfinal in an epic five-set thriller to Stefanos Tsitsipas. After that, he lost in the semifinal to Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros. He then skipped the Wimbledon Championships and the Tokyo Olympics.

Later, he went to the North American region but returned as his foot hadn’t healed yet. He called off his current season and will look to come back fully fit for the next season. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him soon in 2022.
