Strictly 2021: When does It Takes Two start and who is presenting?

With summer coming to an end, the start of a new series of Strictly Come Dancing officially ushers in cosy Saturday nights.
The new series of Strictly starts with a special pre-recorded launch show tonight (September 18), and the live shows kick off the following Saturday, during which the couples will dance together for the first time.
With the return of the competition, It Takes Two, Strictly’s companion show which gives a closer look at all the goings on, is also set to return.

It Takes Two returns on Monday, September 27.
The new series starts on at 6:30pm on BBC Two and will air every day of the week leading up to the live Saturday shows.

Who is presenting It Takes Two?
Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark have presented the last few series of the show, but Zoe Ball confirmed she would be leaving after 10 years with the show earlier this summer.
Rylan is staying put, and will be joined by former pro dancer Janette Manrara.
The news was made official during an episode of The One Show back in June.
Manrara said of taking over the role: ‘It’s a dream come true to become part of the It Takes Two team! Although it’s impossible to fill in the shoes of a legend like Zoe Ball, I hope to make her and all of the Strictly fans proud.’
‘I will miss dancing on that iconic dancefloor weekly, but [am] forever grateful to continue being a part of the Strictly Come Dancing family!’
Manrara had been part of the Strictly professional dancer line-up since 2013.
Her husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, is also one of the professional dancers on the show.
Strictly Come Dancing’s launch show airs tonight at 7:45pm on BBC One.
