“Will You Give Derek Brunson?”- Jake Paul Challenges Dana White to Set Up a 185-Pound Fight

Jake Paul’s ongoing feud with the UFC and Dana White has been heightened with his recent win over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Following the win, ‘The Problem Child’ stated that there are a number of potential opponents in mind. However, Paul has his eyes set on former friend turned foe, Jorge ‘Gambred’ Masvidal.

In a recent interview, Dana White shared his thoughts on Paul trying to call out Masvidal who is under contract with the UFC. White, challenged Paul to take on a fight against Anderson Silva who is a free agent at the moment and is winning fights. The UFC President also stated that Masvidal is not in the same category as Paul.

Dana admitted this morning that I would destroy “170” pound Masvidal.. So Dana will you give Brunson permission to make some real money? Dana? pic.twitter.com/HtxyWYC99m

Jake Paul vs Jorge Masvidal a fight that can be made?

Leading up to his fight against Ben Askren, the entire MMA community was against Jake Paul. However, Jorge Masvidal teamed up with Jake Paul to take out a common enemy. Paul did that with ease, knocking out Askren in the very first round.

After that when Paul was matched up against Woodley, he received no support from Masvidal given Jorge Masvidal and Tyron Woodley are from the same management team and good friends as well. Following the win, Paul turned on his friend Masvidal for switching sides and called him out for a fight multiple times. However, Masvidal is under contract with the UFC and it is next to impossible that the UFC President Dana White would do business with either of the Paul brothers.

Dana White has made it abundantly clear that setting up fights against YouTubers is not what he does and does not intend on getting into that business anytime soon. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that Paul faces anyone from the UFC be it Derek Brunson or Jorge Masvidal.
