Call of Duty: Vanguard is Already in Shambles as Hackers Make Their Way into the Beta Test

Call of Duty: Vanguard is not even out yet and some cheaters are already spoiling the beta. Call of Duty: Vanguard’s cross-platform beta players are facing the same frustration once again as the beta has been targeted by cheaters in less than 48 hours, which is clearly not ideal.

Cheating and hacking have been a major issue in Call of Duty games to the point that Activision decided to include the improved anti-cheat system in their marketing plans. And it is one of the key features of Vanguard.

Right now, the cross-platform beta is only available to those players who have pre-ordered the game. Call of Duty’s biggest weakness is the lack of a strong anti-cheat system.

Various videos are already dominating the game’s Reddit and Twitter page proving the same. One Twitter user wrote, “Dudes are hacking in the Vanguard beta,” and the post came with visual evidence.

Call of Duty: Vanguard’s new anti-cheat system is on the way

The anti-cheat system in Vanguard will be introduced later this month. Looks like Activision is pretty confident with the upcoming anti-cheat system as the official pages of COD openly taunted all the hackers in a video last month. The recent marketing video for Vanguard also warned all the cheaters.

The official Call of Duty Twitter handle wrote, “We know what you are doing. We’re coming for you. This is not a drill: if you cheat, we will come and get you. Bans are on the way and anti-cheat will arrive in Warzone later this year.

Call of Duty has also claimed that the hackers who get permanently banned from Warzone due to hacking will also be banned completely from Vanguard. The prevalence of unethical activity is ruining the game once again. Hopefully, the situation will get normal soon.
