Former James Bond Star Showers High Praise on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for His Performance in DC’s Black Adam

Pierce Brosnan spoke to Collider about his roles in Black Adam and Cinderella. During the conversation, he explained the similarity between the two movies which made him want to take up the role. Moreover, he pulled in the role Dwayne Johnson plays in Black Adam for clarification.

He was asked if he felt there was enough freedom for him to make the character his own in the movies. According to Pierce, every movie requires a particular set of beats, and both Cinderella and Black Adam had that.

“Oh, very much so. It’s an ensemble piece, Black Adam. You have Dwayne, who’s at the pinnacle of his fame and fortune and success and popularity. He is magnificent as Black Adam. We are the Justice Society and there’s four of us, so we became a strong quartet of actors. The writing was very good. There was just enough beats. You just want three good beats. If you have three good scenes to hang your hat and your heart on, then you can make something of your days. For me, Black Adam had that, and Cinderella had it, in its own specific way.” H/t Collider.
