Rita Ora ‘in great place’ as she speaks out on relationship with Taika Waititi for first time

Rita Ora has addressed her romance with Taika Waititi for the first time after the pair have seemed inseperable.
The couple have been posting sweet snaps on social media and recently attended the Met Gala together, but hadn’t publicly addressed their relationship.
Not giving too much away, Rita, 30, simply told Australian Vogue when she was asked about romance: ‘I’m in a great place in my life, that’s all I’m going to say about that.’
It’s thought that the singer and filmmaker have been together since March, although they made their public debut on the red carpet at The Suicide Squad premiere in August.
Confirming their romance, a source previously told The Sun: ‘They’ve been a couple since early March but kept things low key. However, all their friends know about the relationship – they’re really into each other.’
Rita also shared the love for her boyfriend on his birthday last month with the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Kristen Stewart, Charli XCX, Jodie Turner-Smith and Ashley Benson.

Meanwhile, the pair most recently dazzled on the carpet of the Met Gala in New York City.
In sweet photos, Rita could be seen kissing Taika on the cheek and cosying up to him, with the pair also larking about with talk show host Jimmy Fallon for the cameras.
During the pandemic this year, Rita has been out of the country, for projects like The Voice Australia, which she stars on as a coach alongside Keith Urban, Guy Sebastian, and Jessica Mauboy.

However, it’s been reported that she’s due to return home very soon to start filming for The Masked Singer.
‘She loves doing the show and though she has set up a new life in LA, she was determined to still take part,’ an insider said.

‘She has been out of the UK for the whole of 2021 but she won’t be back for long because at the moment the trip is only scheduled for a fortnight.’
They added to The Sun: ‘There will be strict Covid rules on set but she’s hoping to see some family and friends while she’s here. It’s really important to her.’
