From a week before the match between Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings, the biggest talking point was how the Vikings would contain the Cardinals’ star quarterback, Kyler Murray. Vikings coach in the pre-match had admitted that his team should be cautious of Murray. It was important for them to contain the dynamic quarterback and not let him influence the match. For the Vikings, unfortunately, this was too much of an ask.
Kyler Murray had a game to remember against the Vikings. The quarterback consistently used his legs constantly to stretch the field and extend the plays. His star performance helped the Cardinals pick up a 34-33 victory over the Vikings. He finished with 400 passing yards, 31 rushing yards, and four total touchdowns.

Kyler Murray reacts to Cardinals’ win
Despite Kyler Murray’s influential performance, the game was a close duel. It wasn’t an easy victory for the Cardinals in any sense. The Vikings played like a team and if it weren’t for their wasteful finishing, they could’ve won the game.
If it weren’t for the last-minute miss by Vikings kicker Greg Joseph, The Vikings would’ve won this match in a dramatic manner. Acknowledging the scrappy win, Kyler Murray went on Twitter to react to the match. “Lots to clean up, but a win is a win” he tweeted.

“That play didn’t lose the game” – Vikings linebacker defends Greg Joseph’s last-second miss
In the dying moments of the match, Kirk Cousins helped Greg Joseph lined up for a 37-yard field goal which he fired wide. This spoiled Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins night who was possibly the second-best player on the pitch after Murray.
Despite the miss, Vikings linebacker Nick Vigil defended Greg Joseph. He asked the critics to rather blame the 4 chances which they missed earlier on in the match than the last play by Joseph. “That play didn’t lose the game,” said Nick Vigil “You can blame it on three or four plays that happened before that where we could’ve won the game.”
