“Has Become a Role Model in Our Household”: Renowned Popstar Believes Emma Raducanu is a Perfect Role Model For Children

18-year-old Emma Raducanu emerged as the winner of the US Open 2021. The British player became the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam and thus, created history at New York. Interestingly, she didn’t drop a single set in the whole tournament.

In a recent interview to Tennis365.com, renowned British Popstar cum entrepreneur, Myleene Klass revealed that Emma Raducanu has become an inspiration for her children. She highlighted that she is a role model and her name has become a verb in her home.

“She has become a verb in our household. We are saying to my two girls that they can ‘Raducanu it’ when they tell me they can’t do something and she is just wonderful. She is such a phenomenal role model,” said Klass in the interview.

Klass mentioned that Raducanu has got almost everything that a parent wants in her child. She believes she displayed some great character at the US Open 2021 and thus, deserves all the appreciation.

“Emma spoke about her mental strength and everything she put onto our TV screens at the US Open encompasses everything about what we want to see in our kids as parents,” added the 43-year-old.

“All-round winner in life”- Myleene Klass on Emma Raducanu

Klass continued and said that since Raducanu is also academically strong apart from being a brilliant tennis player, she is a true all-rounder. She further emphasized that the youngster will have quite a great influence on children.

“She speaks the same language as our children and is a perfect role model. Emma did so well in her A levels and is also such an inspiration on the tennis court, so she is a general all-round winner in life so far,” concluded Klass.

After the US Open 2021 success, Emma Raducanu is likely to play at the Indian Wells Masters 2021. Fans have huge expectations from her and want her to play with the same kind of momentum. Will she be able to win her maiden Masters title tournament this year?
