Married At First Sight UK’s Alexis and Ant agree to leave as she blasts him for ‘mugging her off’

Married At First Sight UK’s Alexis and Ant could leave the series again following an explosive argument.
The couple got into a fiery war of words during the latest dinner party with the other couples, where Alexis blasted Ant for not making the effort with their relationship.
They re-entered the experiment last week as a couple after Alexis’ former husband Jordon cheated with Megan, and Nikita was booted off the programme for unacceptable behaviour meaning Ant also had to leave.
However, since they returned to the series, Ant realised he didn’t have romantic feelings for Alexis and felt their connection was more ‘friendly’.
Confronting him over his lack of interest in making their relationship work, Alexis said in front of the other couples: ‘For the past two days I’ve slept on the sofa because I don’t want to be in bed with someone who feels [they don’t fancy me].
‘I’m not here to make a f*****g friendship. We’re sitting here at a table tonight and I feel alone again.’

Mel, one of the experts, noted of Ant’s attitude: ‘He’s just giving up.’
Back at the dinner table, Alexis said: ‘I came here for love and you’re just mugging me off.’
Ant insisted: ‘No one’s mugging you though, you’re a beautiful girl. I feel like I’ve been open and honest with you.’
However, Alexis fired back: ‘F**k your honesty, I didn’t come here for that s**t.’
Realising there was nothing left to salvage, Alexis reasoned: ‘We are leaving,’ to which Ant agreed.

She then hit back: ‘If this was on the outside world you’d be blocked and deleted.’
Married At First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday at 9pm on E4.
