New CBeebies presenter George praised by parents for ‘inspiring a whole generation of kids to chase their dreams’

CBeebies has been applauded by parents for welcoming newcomer George as the latest guest presenter.

The channel announced the new host on Monday morning, revealing that the young addition loves cooking and dancing.

George introduced himself in a video shared by the official channel on social media and said that he is ‘so proud’ to be taking part.

‘I’m feeling so excited to start,’ he smiled, adding that he’s looking forward to meeting his co-stars and Dodge.

‘This is me, I am George,’ he continued. ‘I like to cook and dance! I like to watch films all day long given half the chance! This is me, I am George.

‘My eyes are sparkly, just like my mum. Just like my dad, I’m determined and brave. And just like my sister, I’m full of fun.’

George went on to add: ‘When I was young, I was told that I can be anything. And look! Here I am, in the CBeebies House ready to cook and sing.

‘This is me, I am George. I can’t wait to be your friend, so get ready to come with me on an adventure that will never end.’

George’s arrival has been celebrated by parents and fans at home, with one saying he’ll ‘inspire a whole generation of CBeebies watchers to chase their own dreams’.
