HILARIOUS: Mercedes F1 Teases Vin Diesel With “Family” Meme

Apart from being a high-octane sport, Formula One is also known for its glitz and glamor. The paddock has seen some notable names during the Grand Prix weekend, and at the recent Italian Grand Prix in Monza, it was no different.

This time it was a popular Hollywood actor and face of the Fast & Furious franchise, Vin Diesel. The actor was on site for the Italian Grand Prix, taking pictures with Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, and the Silver Arrows saw this as an opportunity to create a buzz on social media.

Mercedes tease the entire F1 community with the Fast & Furious theme

The movie revolves around the theme of family and has made an impact on social media. Hence, when the actor was present on Sunday’s race, Mercedes used the opportunity to give a reference to his blockbuster movie.

Not the only actor to be present during a Grand Prix weekend this season

During the dramatic British Grand Prix at Silverstone earlier this season, the Silver Arrows had acclaimed Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to give them company. The American star was cheering for none other than the seven-time world champion.

As the Knight took the checkered flag at his home race, Cruise was over the moon for the driver he was rooting for. When Hamilton was preparing to go on to the podium and celebrate his victory, he was stopped by the actor, who embraced him and congratulated him for his achievement at Silverstone.

Now as Lewis prepares for the Russian Grand Prix at Sochi, this upcoming weekend, it won’t be a surprise to see A-list actors such as Cruise and Diesel cheering him on.
