‘Little Sensitive Spoiled Little Brat’- Alexander Volkanovski Weighs In on Brian Ortega Ahead of Their Title Bout at UFC 266

Alexander Volkanovski says Brian Ortega has different sides. The featherweight champion of UFC says Ortega is a spoiled brat who acts as the most caring guy in the room.

‘The Great’ is ready to face American fighter Brian Ortega at UFC 266. The featherweight title bout will serve as the main event for the pay-per-view, which will take place on 25 September.

Both fighters have coached in the UFC’s reality show The Ultimate Fighter (TUF 29) this year. Over the course of the show, they exchanged verbal jabs with each other, further increasing the animosity.

In a recent episode of the MMA Hour show with Ariel Helwani, Volkanovski took a dig at ‘T-City’. He said, “If we had this conversation before my first fight with him, it’d be totally different, you know. He showed me a different side. You know I just believe that what I’ve been saying is he is just like a. He puts on a front. I don’t know why he does it like. “

He added, “And I don’t know. And I think he just wants to act like this real caring type of guy. Maybe you know. I don’t know what it is, but that’s not what I have seen you know. I have seen a little sensitive spoiled little brat. You know if that makes sense. I mean, it’s just you know you just little things as you probably heard about, like the pranks. He would prank me, but we weren’t allowed to prank him.”

Can Alexander Volkanovski Defend His Title Against Brian Ortega

The 21-1 record holder Alexander Volkanovski is one of the most prominent names in the promotion. He quickly made his way up the ranks after his debut and is dominating the featherweight roster of UFC.

‘The Great’ is undefeated in UFC and has eleven finishes to his name. He has already defended his gold strap against Max Holloway in a rematch at UFC 251. This is Volkanovski’s second title defense in the promotion.

Despite being on a fourteen-month hiatus, the featherweight fighter looks as sharp as ever. Half of his victories have come via knockout and he certainly has the potential to earn a knockout win over Ortega, who is 1-1 in his last two outings.

It won’t be a walk in the park for ‘T-City’ to face the featherweight champ inside the octagon. Do you think Ortega will survive all four rounds? Will ‘The Great’ earn a finish at UFC 266?
