The Voice USA coach Ariana Grande blown away by Gymani singing her track POV: ‘That’s your song now. Take it’

Ariana Grande was lost for words on The Voice USA after contestant Gymani performed an amazing covered of her hit single, POV.

Tuesday’s episode gave viewers their first look at the 28-year-old’s new position as a coach alongside John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton during the first load of Blind Auditions.

One of the talented singers who got Ari to push her red buzzer was 23-year-old singer Gymani, after she had the ‘audacity’ to take the chart-toppers song and make it her own.

Gymani’s soulful spin on the track had Ariana’s jaw on the floor and left the singer floundering in awe, with all four coaches turning for the singer.

‘That’s your song now, take it!’ Ariana gushed. ‘That was phenomenal. There were so many alterations to the melody and I trusted every single one of them… You’re a messenger of emotions and an incredibly effective communicator with your gift, and I am honored that you sang my song.’

‘You truly made it so much your own,’ John Legend agreed. ‘That is exceptionally difficult to do, and you did it.’
