The Akron Hammer does it in a kingly style. He always gets what he wants and this time around it was the help from Carmelo Anthony. But recently, an adorable incident forced Melo to seek confirmation whether or not Bron sees him as an amigo.

When a Kid questioned the kinship of Carmelo Anthony & LeBron James

The 37-YO Forward player recently released his much-awaited and very intimate memoir, Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised. As the name matches with former US President Barack Obama’s A Promised Land, this memoir talks about Melo’s early life and struggles. 

So he showed up at a bookstore for the signing event as part of the novel promotion. That’s when a super cute kid in a #23 Lakers jersey innocently asked him over the counter, “Are you still friends with LeBron James? I’m wearing his shirt.” To this, a smiling Melo answered in a yes. But later, he took to Twitter to funnily confirm the correctness of his answer from the main man himself.

When the L-Train saved Melo’s life

The NBA fandom has seen how LeBron & Carmelo would mock Russell Westbrook or how Bron would crash Melo’s All-Star interview. They’ve also heard from the 10x All-Star how he instantly said yes to King James’ offer that wanted him in LA. But few people know why the 6’7” forward actually owed one to his friend.

In an interview with Dwyane Wade, Melo had earlier revealed how LeBron James once saved his life. It was the off-season time the trio were in the Bahamas and they were in a boat for their snorkeling adventure. That’s when Melo decided to get a little too far and the ocean current suddenly caught him in deep waters. It was a brave Bron who then jumped in to save his man.
