“What If”: Serena Williams Admits Having Anxiety While Watching Marvel

Everyone in the world seems to be a Marvel fan, from teenagers to professional tennis players. Tennis icon Serena Williams has also stated several times that she is a huge admirer of super heroes, particularly those from Marvel Studios. The 23 time Grand Slam champion is the closest thing in the real world to a superhero, so her admiration for them is not a surprise.

Serena is a huge Marvel fan

To express her emotions, the American took to twitter and confessed she had anxiety while watching the Marvel series, ‘What if…?’.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Serena Williams had an intriguing moment at Met Gala this year. The duo unexpectedly clashed up at the event. “You don’t understand, you are ruining my life, and I’m like, Sorry, we just met…!” “I’m just a stupid fan, I’m too involved… It just matters too much to me!” Serena told Cumberbatch. Safe to say, Williams enjoys Benedict’s Doctor Strange character.

Serena did not compete in the US Open 2021 since she is currently recuperating from a hamstring injury. While she hasn’t been able to hit those powerful forehands, she certainly knows how to keep herself occupied with Marvel and DC. Serena Williams’ fans across the world are really excited to see her collaboration with DC comics.
