Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas Showcase Their Incredibly Patriotic Wedges for Ryder Cup 2020
Every other year, when the Ryder Cup arrives, 24 players have to leave aside their individual play and come together to represent their country. Fans don’t just root for their favorite stars or the game but cheer for their entire side. This brings along tremendous support from everyone, including Vokey Design’s Aaron Dill – who customized some wedges for Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.
While Thomas qualified automatically, Spieth was one of the players chosen by US Captain Steve Stricker. Even though there are plenty of rookies on the US Team, Spieth is one of the most experienced Ryder Cuppers on the team.
Let’s take a look at what special surprise did Dill had waiting for the two of them.

To increase the patriotic spirit for Team USA, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas received some customized wedges from Vokey Design’s Aaron Dill. Spieth’s wedge had an eagle carved onto it, along with the words ‘SHAKE AND BAKE’ written alongside it – all in red, white and blue, of course.
Thomas’ wedge had USA carved at the top, while ‘JT’ was carved in blue, and ‘Radar’ was carved beside it in red and white.
Dill’s work hit all the right spots, fans commenting that they would pay millions for that particular wedge.
Who exactly is Aaron Dill?
Dill, as per Vokey’s site, is the man behind every Vokey wedge on the Tour. Though he studied for careers in golf, he ended up making his name in club building and fitting. Their brand helps a player focus on what one needs, explaining wedge grind options and how it can help lower one’s score.
