After the conclusion of the second triple-header of the season, the Formula 1 paddock move towards the Sochi Autodrom for the Russian Grand Prix.
After the second sprint qualifying at the Italian Grand Prix, F1 will return to normal weekend routines with qualifying back on Saturdays.
The Russian Grand Prix qualifying will begin on Saturday, 25th September at 3:00 PM local time.

Where to watch Russian Grand Prix Qualifying and timings?
In the United Kingdom, the live coverage of the Russian Grand Prix will commence on September 25, Saturday, at 1:00 PM BST, and will be broadcasted on Sky Sports F1. Meanwhile, non-Sky subscribers can subscribe to F1 TV or will have to rely on highlights from Channel 4.

In the United States, the race will be broadcasted on ESPN and the live coverage will begin on September 25, Saturday at 8:00 AM ET. Meanwhile, Americans can watch the highlights on the official channel of F1 on YouTube.

Max Verstappen will start the Russian GP from the back of the grid
Max Verstappen, who finished P3 in FP1 and P6 in FP2, opted for a new power unit, which will see him start the Russian GP from the back of the grid. The Dutchman was already carrying a three-place grid penalty for causing the accident with his arch-rival, Lewis Hamilton, at Monza.
As quoted by the Formula 1 website, when asked if his Friday practice results prompted him to take the new parts, the driver’s championship leader, Max Verstappen, replied: “Not only the results.”

“I said before that we’ll take everything into account, also with the weather for tomorrow. So we thought it would be best to take it here,” concluded the Dutchman.
