SPOTTED: Michael Jordan and Steph Curry Enjoying a Table Chat During the Ryder Cup 2021

Michael Jordan did not leave much room for anyone to come and make a place as the greatest in any basketball category. And yet, a decade into his retirement, Steph Curry emerged as the greatest shooter of all time. So the idea of having both the legends in the same frame is just dreamy. Well, that dream came true at Ryder Cup 2021 where the two recently met.

Now, Air Jordan is hard to please. In fact, the owner of the Charlotte Hornets once joked in one of his interviews that the GSW icon is still not a Hall of Fame level performer. But is it that things have changed ever since?

Cameras caught Michael Jordan and Steph Curry having a chit-chat

On September 24th, the prestigious Ryder Cup 2021 kicked off and it saw Team USA taking a formidable 6-2 lead over Team Europe. In the audience, the Ryder Cup had nine NBA championships worth of names in MJ (6) and Steph Curry (3). 

Michael Jordan was enjoying a match between Dustin Johnson & Xander Schauffele and Bernd Weisberger and Paul Casey. On the other hand, the Baby Faced Assassin was busy rooting for Bryson DeChambeau & Scottie Scheffler against Tyrrell Hatton & Jon Rahm. 

However, the two NBA greats came to highlight when they took some time to sit across a table and have a casual chat. Curry in his Under Armour shoes and White golf cap looked as sleek as MJ looked in his dark blue attire. This forced the netizens to ask, what’s cooking between the two?

Notably, in the gap of four holes during the 11th to 14th, Euro VC Henrik Stenson came running to greet the two.

When Phil Mickelson met with competitor Chef Curry

Remember the popular Match 3 where the team of Charles Barkley & Phil Mickelson matched against the duo of Steph Curry & Peyton Manning? That day, the Barkleson won the game and humiliated the golfer in Steph.

Yet, during Day 1 of Ryder Cup, it was Chef Curry who was trying to meet eyes with Phil. However, the latter didn’t respond to Curry’s clues and forced the NBA Champion to go and meet him. 

This was all happening at the  Ryder Cup in Wisconsin under the presence of His Airness Michael Jordan. So this gives further hype to a possible Match 4 contest between MJ-Tiger Woods and Steph-Mickelson. One such event would definitely raise multi-million dollars while also helping Curry making an impression over Jordan.
