Brooklyn Nets Outdo Lakers and 76ers to Sign Record-Breaking Jersey Sponsorship Deal for 2021-22 NBA Season

Possessing some quality players, there is no doubt that the Brooklyn Nets is a big business team. This only means that all their sales, such as their tickets, jerseys, etc. will be hot-selling. Ahead of the upcoming season of the NBA, the favorites have signed a record breaking sponsorship deal for their new jerseys. The 2021-22 edition will see the franchise teaming up with Webull.

Last year, the Nets had three out of the four players with highest selling jerseys; namely Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving. Suited up in a black home kit, their design attracted millions of fans. The side was second only to LeBron James‘ LA Lakers when it came to jersey sales. However, with the new deal, there are high chances that they overlap their rivals.

Brooklyn Nets land humongous jersey deal for NBA 2021-22 season

In the 2021-22 season, Webull is set to be the official jersey sponsor for the Brooklyn Nets. In all likelihood, it will be a ravishing black outfit again. It is a multi-year contract between the two parties, and will be valued at an NBA record of $30 million per year. This comfortably tops the previous record of $20 million held by Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors. If that’s not enough, it also beats the deals of the Lakers and 76ers, who also recently landed gigantic jersey patch agreements. While Philadelphia partnered with Crypto, the Lakers finalized a 20 million-a-year deal spread across five years.

Unusually enough, this is the first ever sports partnership for broker dealing company Webull. The CEO of the company Anthony Denier, however, expressed his excitement at the brand new agreement. “There’s no better way to celebrate our company’s New York roots, and we’re looking forward to collaborating on initiatives that give back to the Brooklyn community,” said Denier. Along with the jersey rights, Webull will also receive digital signage of all the Nets‘ home games at the Barclays Center.

The Brooklyn Nets have surely landed a massive deal before the commencement of the new season. Can they finally repay everyone’s belief in them? The side kicks off their regular season campaign against defending champions Milwaukee Bucks on October 19th.
