WWE Royal Rumble 2022 is Coming to St. Louis

WWE has announced the venue for Royal Rumble 2022. Not only is the venue here, but WWE have set the date as well!

With a post on social media, the company announced that the venue is The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis. As for the date, it’s January 29th, 2022.

Obviously, the company hasn’t announced the match card yet. But, fans can be rest assured that the Royal Rumble Men’s Match and Women’s Match will definitely be a part of this.

Keeping the flagship matches aside, the WWE Universe can expect title matches, non-title matches, and of course, The Challengers for WrestleMania will be finalized.

WWE Royal Rumble 2022 can expect number of fans in attendance

The PPV is being hosted by The Dome. The arena can seat up to 82,600. However, the arena has levels which range from primary luxury suites level to terrace level. The other levels are a private club seat and luxury suite level and a concourse level.

The number of suites and seats on different levels differs, with the terrace level having the highest number with 29,400.

While all the seats available may not be occupied, a number above 40,000 is expected at a minimum. Additionally, this is a major PPV, the one that kicks off the season. Hence, fans from across the nation will want to be a part of the event. Moreover, WWE has a massive history with St. Louis, so Royal Rumble 2022 could possibly be one of the biggest PPVs of 2022.

A primary reason WWE needs to make sure Royal Rumble 2022 becomes a huge event is because of the way the company is finishing 2021.

Whether it was WrestleMania 37 or Money in the Bank or SummerSlam 2021 or Extreme Rules 2021, each of these events have taken the product up a notch. The titles have changed hands, Superstars have changed characters, and the matches have upped the brutality with each passing PPV.

Hence, if the company ends 2021 on a high note, it will need to ensure 2022 starts grandly. That’s the only way to keep the audience engaged with the product.
