Fans are convinced Adele is releasing new music this week – here’s why

Adele could be dropping some new music as soon as this week according to some giddy fans.

It’s been six years since the singer-songwriter’s last album 25 was released so she is absolutely due a new record, as we all are.

Fans of the English music star believe now is the time – and they reckon they have the evidence to back it up.

Some sort of announcement came yesterday when radio presenter Mauler, who hosts two shows on the Canadian radio station HOT 89.9 in Ottawa, posted a pretty self-explanatory tweet.

‘New Adele. This week,’ he typed in the now-deleted post.

It’s possible that as a radio DJ he was made aware of the new Adele release but didn’t realise the announcement hadn’t been made public yet.

And while this is already a pretty big clue, that someone in the music industry seems so confident about the drop, it’s not all that fans have to prove this theory.

Billboard Charts Twitter account also shared a recap of Adele’s successes on the Billboard Top 200 charts.

While it didn’t mention anything about new music, it left fans wondering why now.

This was already more than enough to send Adele fans into a frenzy.

‘SHE IS F**KING COMING I FEEL IT,’ wrote one excited fan while another person replied: ‘adele is here pack ur dolls and sweaters let’s move.’

‘ADELE IS REALLY COMING THIS WEEK, DAYDREAMERS RISE,’ tweeted out another admirer.

One fan page also tweeted that: ‘According to a very reliable insider, adele’s fourth studio album has been finalized and the music video for the lead single was recently recorded.’

Some fans are also speculating that the 15-time Grammy-winning singer might also be aiming to sneak in the release of her upcoming album just before the deadline for the 2022 awards.

That is set for tomorrow (September 30), so fans are right about this, the new album will be dropping sooner than anyone expected.
