Juventus Captain Confident in ‘Easy’ Win Over Chelsea Even Without Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo finally re-joined Manchester United this summer after a relatively short transfer saga. While the most significant story going around was his refusal to join City and his eventual return, his former club Juventus was ignored for a bit.

The Serie A giants haven’t been too shabby themselves and have won the Serie A nine times in a row since 2010. They finally lost out on the league title to Inter Milan as they ended up finishing fourth. Ronaldo was the top scorer in Italy with 29 goals. Currently, after a subpar start to the league, Juventus face Chelsea in their second UEFA Champions League match.

Juventus and their shocking start to the season without Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line.

Juventus have always challenged for the Serie A title ever since 2010, and 2020-21 was an abomination by their lofty standards. However, things have gotten worse this time around as new manager Massimiliano Allegri tries to save his team.

The Old Lady sit in 10th place in the League table after six games. They have lost two, drawn two, and won two games and are behind city rivals Torino in the table. Moreover, they have also leaked a ghastly ten goals in these six matches showing the problems that exist in the team.

It’s hard to see them winning anything domestically this season, but anything could happen with their calibre and mindset.
