WATCH: Chris Eubank Jr. Hits the Mitts Ahead of His Saturday Night Bout

This weekend, Chris Eubank Jr. will compete in his second fight of 2021. The Brit will lock horns with Anatoli Muratov in a full-fledged 12-round fight. Eubanks Jr. returned to action after almost 2 years when he faced Marcus Morrison in May of this year. Prior to that fight, he had last competed against Matt Korobov back in December 2019 and had won that fight via TKO.

Now the Brit is ready to step back inside the ring and, with a victory, might get back in the title race. Recently ‘Next Gen’ had shared a video on Twitter, where we can see him hitting the mitts in a devastating fashion.

Along with the video, he wrote, “Ready to throw that Leather viciously on Saturday night.”

Back in 2019, Eubank Jr. was in the title race. And had won the interim WBA interim middleweight title after defeating Korobov.

However, post that bout, he was inactive for a long time, which resulted in him getting out of the title race. Now, two years down the line, the Sussex native is searching for that ultimate shot towards the glory. However, to get to that, he’ll have to get past some stern contenders like Anatoli Muratov.

Needless to say, Eubank Jr. has put in some real hard work to present his best version in this fight. He stays pretty active on his social handles and often posts about his workout regimes to keep his fans up to date.

Saturday night will prove to be a vital boxing appearance for him, as his months of hard work will finally get tested. If he gets past Muratov, Eubank Jr. will certainly advance in the world title race.

That said, if he decodes his opponent’s style early, Eubank Jr. might launch his scathing attack to outbox him completely. Currently, Eubanks Jr. has 22 fights via KO and will look to improve his record when he faces Muratov this weekend.

However, it won’t be easy as Muratov is also a great boxer. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how he fares in this fight.
