WATCH: Rafael Nadal Teaching Golf To His Uncle

Rafael Nadal is considered one of the most high-intensity tennis players of all time. The Spaniard missed out the US Open for the second consecutive year. In August 2021, Nadal announced that he’s withdrawing from the US Open and the remainder of the year due to his left foot injury.

Apart from tennis, the 20-time Grand Slam champion excels in Golf too. The former World No.1 has said on several occasions that he loves to play golf in his free time. Rafael Nadal has also participated in various Golf tournaments and is really good at the sport. In a recent video, Rafael Nadal was seen teaching golf to his Uncle Miguel Angel at a professional golf club.

The Spaniard is presently rehabilitating from his left foot injury but is hopeful of a return in 2022. Recently, Rafael Nadal was seen teaching golf to his Uncle Miguel Angel at a golf club. Given his evident interest in the sport, maybe Rafa can try his hand at golf professionally after retiring from tennis.

Interestingly, while the Spaniard plays tennis with his left hand, he has a right-side swing in golf.

The Spaniard participated in Balearic Golf Championship

Nadal swapped his tennis racquet with a golf stick at Balearic Golf Championship in August 2021. The competition took place in Mallorca. Nadal he ended the tournament tied for sixth place with an amazing total of 153 points.

Nadal also participated in Balearic Golf Championship in October 2020. The Spaniard’s performance was brilliant last year as he finished just 10 shots away from the winner at Balearic Golf Championship, 2020. Clearly, golf is becoming Nadal’s second favorite sport after tennis.

Recently, Toni Nadal, Rafa’s Uncle, gave a quick injury update on the former World No. 1. Toni Nadal said that the 20-time Grand Slam champion is recovering and hopes to return at Australian Open 2022.
