The cast of new Darling Buds of May reboot The Larkins have introduced themselves ahead of the series arriving on ITV, and Bradley Walsh has wasted no time in turning on the charm.

The actor, comedian and Chase host is leading the cast as loveable wheeler dealer Pop Larkin, and he stands proudly with his on-screen family in the new pictures.

A release date for upcoming series has also been confirmed, with the new episodes arriving on October 10.

Bradley is starring alongside Joanna Scanlan, Peter Davison and Bridgerton’s Sabrina Bartlett in the six part series.

It’s a family affair for Bradley, as his son Barney is also appearing in the new adaptation of H. E. Bates’s 1958 novel.

The Darling Buds of May reboot is written by Simon Nye (The Durrells, Men Behaving Badly) and Abigail Wilson (Stella, Trollied).

There’s also a new trailer for the show which sees the characters introduce themselves, beginning with Bradley’s Pop speaking to the viewer.
