“Fake Celebrating After a Freak Injury”- Conor Mcgregor Had Some Things to Say on Dustin Poirier After Tyson Fury’s Victory Against Deontay Wilder

Two of the best heavyweights of this era went to war for the third time this weekend in Las Vegas. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder settled the scores after three insane fights that delivered every single time. ‘The Gypsy King’ and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ came into the fight on the back of one draw and one win to Fury.

Ultimately, it was Tyson Fury who was able to assert himself once again and secure a devastating knockout in round 11 to settle the debate once and for all. UFC superstar Conor McGregor took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the fight and how it played out.

Their skill levels are unique but very close. A great heavyweight trilogy that was. I love when it gets set for certain and both have an honorable showing. Not the fam in the ring fake celebrating after a freak injury etc etc you know the gig, God bless the real in this world.

He said, “Congrats Tyson and Paris. Me and Dee are so happy for you and the kids. Congrats Deontay and Telli also. Was great meeting you guys recently. A real proud showing that was, and could have went either way. Amazing! Happy Sunday now today with the cheddar and the memory’s God bless.”

Conor McGregor throws shade at Dustin Poirier once again

Conor McGregor’s trilogy with Dustin Poirier ended in an unfortunate manner when he suffered a horrific injury at the end of round one. Dustin Poirier checked a kick perfectly that McGregor threw, which resulted in a severe fracture. Following the stoppage, Poirier was seen celebrating the win and strutting in front of Conor McGregor while he sat on the floor in agony.

This has not gone down well with McGregor, who has repeatedly blasted Poirier for celebrating a ‘fluke win’. ‘The Diamond’ argues that he was comfortably winning the fight until it ended and does not see any scenario in which that would have changed. The Lafayette native was also unapologetic about his celebration and stated that McGregor had crossed lines in the buildup for the same.

Poirier is now all set to take on Charles Oliveira for the undisputed lightweight title in December. This will be his second shot at the lightweight title. ‘The Diamond’ will be hoping that he can get the job done this time around and secure undisputed UFC gold for the first time in his career.
